The Youngstown Business incubator received a $3 million grant for investments.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Youngstown Business Incubator (YBI) has partnered with Youngstown State University’s Williamson College of Business to host Youngstown’s Global Entrepreneurship Week.

Monday, Nov.14 through Friday, Nov. 18, communities from all over the world will celebrate the accomplishments of past entrepreneurs and encourage future entrepreneurs to launch their own businesses.

YBI will highlight the successes of some of their portfolio companies as well as other events that educate potential entrepreneurs on specifics of starting a business. A major component will also be connecting those who seek to be a part of the entrepreneurial network of the area.

Examples of programming include a “Business Model Basics” class, taught at the YBI, a “Tech Startup Panel,” held at WCBA, and a “Social Entrepreneurship” class, also taught at the YBI.

A number of events are planned for each day of the week, and are open to the general public free of charge.

Anyone interested in participating can contact the YBI at www.ybi.org. or by calling (330) 746-5003.
