Glass Harp announces first Youngstown performance in 7 years

Glass Harp will perform at Powers Auditorium on Friday Jan. 13

Glass Harp is returning to Youngstown for a homecoming concert at Powers Auditorium in the DeYor Performing Arts Center, according to Sunrise Entertainment.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Glass Harp is returning to Youngstown for a homecoming concert at Powers Auditorium in the DeYor Performing Arts Center, according to Sunrise Entertainment.

Glass Harp will perform at 8 p.m. Friday Jan. 13. The event will be Glass Harp’s first appearance in Youngstown in seven years.

Playing extended solos and group improvisations at their concerts, Glass Harp is recognized as one of the early pioneers of jam rock. The current members are Grammy-nominated guitarist Phil Keaggy, bassist Dan Pecchio and drummer John Sferra.

Glass Harp released three studio albums on Decca Records: “Glass Harp” (1970), “It Makes Me Glad” (1971) and “Synergy” (1972).

Tickets for this event will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday Nov. 18. All tickets are reserve seating.
