OVI checkpoint scheduled in Mahoning County this weekend

CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County OVI Task Force will be conducting sobriety checkpoints on Friday, Nov. 18 and Saturday, Nov. 19.

Details will be released later at a later time. There will also be local saturation patrols throughout Mahoning County this week and weekend.

The Task Force says it will be vigilant in enforcing the drinking and driving laws throughout Mahoning County. It says its goal is to prevent drivers from drinking and to make the roadways safer.
