CAMPBELL, Ohio – A funeral service celebrating the life and legacy of Mrs. Ollie J. Beachman will be held Monday, November 28 at 11:00 a.m. at the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Beachman passed away November 14.
Mrs. Beachman was born December 25, 1924, in Troy, Alabama, a daughter of Andrew and Pearl Williams White.
She was a devoted homemaker and avid traveler. She enjoyed reading, cooking, sewing and singing. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the VFW.
She was a faithful member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, member of the choir and nurses guild.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving children, Hazel J. Howell of Campbell, Geraldean Lomax, Sylvia Nelms, Arrilous (Michelle) Beachman, Jr., all of Youngstown, Leon (Patricia) of Almagorda, New Mexico and Melvin Beachman of Campbell; her sisters, Dorothy Thomas, Jewell Weatherington, Jeraldean (Marion) Long and Bobbie Carroll, all of Dothan, Alabama; 12 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Arrilous Beachman, Sr., who passed away in October of 2012; her daughter, Pixie Ann Beachman; her sisters, Lottie Warren, Lois Witt, Nettie Pearl Jones, Mary Lemon and Helen Thomas; her brothers, J.V. and A.D. White; her granddaughter, Faleecha Howell; her great-grandson, Ronard Howell; her great-granddaughters, Christina Howell and Kyra Tensley and her great-great-granddaughter, Emerald Howell.
Friends may call Monday, November 28 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at the church.
