Trumbull County Water customers living on several roads are affected by the boil advisory

A water main break in Warren Township Thursday morning has put several Trumbull County Water customers under a boil advisory.

WARREN TWP. Ohio (WKBN) – A water main break in Warren Township Thursday morning has put several Trumbull County Water customers under a boil advisory.

The water main break happened near South Leavitt Road, between W. Market and Elm streets. Ohio Edison was moving a telephone pole at the time and hit the water line.

Affected areas include:

  • Burnett Road
  • Diehl South Road
  • Fisher Street
  • Riverside Drive
  • Manhattan Avenue
  • Ritter Road
  • Woodview Circle
  • Park Road

The Trumbull County Sanitary Engineers Office recommends that affected customers boil their tap water to a rolling boil for three to five minutes before drinking it.

The boil advisory will be in effect until further notice.

The township expects water to be restored for all customers by the end of the day Thursday. Currently, less than a dozen homes are without water, but crews are working to get it flowing again.
