Key Returnees
The Blue Devils welcome back four letter winners – Evan Macgill (11.1 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 2.6 spg), Braedon Poole (10.2 ppg, 5.2 rpg), Dylan Portolese (10.3 ppg, 5.4 rpg), and Joey Raggazzine (8.3 ppg, 1.3 spg). Macgill was a First-Team All-ITCL selection last winter while Poole was picked as an Honorable Mention recipient after leading the team in free throw percentage (77.3%) and finishing second in three-point shooting (35.3%). “We have some talented underclassmen,” said Rasile. “Matthew Beedle (junior), Josh Celli (sophomore), and Zach Rasile (freshman) should contribute this year.”

Outlook
Just like last year, coach Rasile looks at the challenge of the new season similar. “Our goals and expectations are the same this year – to win a District Championship and get to the regionals.” Last winter, the Blue Devils won their first outright ITCL championship for the first time since 2010-11. McDonald has won 20 or more games in 6 of the past 8 years.
