WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren police are looking for a man who they said robbed a woman outside of an attorney’s office Thursday morning.

The Leavittsburg woman said she arrived at her attorney’s office on Seneca Avenue NE in Warren around 9:45 a.m., and realized she was an hour early for her appointment.

As she was calling a family member, she said a man ran toward her and grabbed her purse.

According to a police report, she didn’t let go right away, so he threw her to the ground. He then picked up her purse and ran to Porter Street, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens to early 20s. The woman said he was wearing jeans, a gray hoodie and a stocking cap at the time. She also noticed that his pants were hanging down and he was wearing green underwear.

Her purse contained two credit cards, a checkbook, $200 cash, her driver’s license and social security cards for her and her mother.

The fall injured the woman’s wrist and arm.
