YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – There was a small protest Friday outside of the Bel-Park Professional Building in Youngstown.

Three people held signs reading, “We need jobs, not parking.”

First News reported Tuesday that the building has been vacant for 10 years. The Youngstown Planning Commission has recommended that the city take over the building, but the owner says he has big plans for it, even though it has remained vacant.

The protesters believe it could be demolished for a parking lot.
