Vehicle and garbage truck collide in Bazetta Township

The driver of the garbage truck was not injured

Two people were injured when a garbage truck and pickup truck collided Friday morning in Bazetta Twp.


BAZETTA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – One person was injured Friday after the pickup truck they were in collided with a garbage truck.

The accident happened about 6:15 a.m. on Perkins Jones road, near Hoagland Blackstub Road.

The driver of the garbage truck was not injured.

Perkins Jones Road was closed in both directions for over an hour as crews worked to clear the accident.

The victim was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, but was able to talk with emergency workers.
