WARREN, Ohio – Charles Earl Llewelyn, 73, passed away at 8:06 a.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, at the Trumbull Memorial Hospital from a heart ailment.
He was born in Springfield, Illinois on June 16, 1943, the son of Royal and Victoria (Wilson) Llewelyn.
He was a United States Army Veteran and retired in February of 2004 after working 29 years as a painter for the Warren City Schools. He also painted for the Trice Company and the DeBartolo Corporation.
He was a member of the NAUS and Shortys Clubs.
Chuck was a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the University of Kansas Jayhawk basketball team. He enjoyed singing karaoke but especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren and dogs.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Patricia (Burdandine) Llewelyn, whom he married on July 28, 1979; five children, Troy (Angel) Llewelyn of Cortland, David (MaryAnn) Llewelyn of Kansas, Teresa Jeffco of Twinsburg, Randy (Jessica) Llewelyn of Warren and Melissa Llewelyn of Warren; six grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Joyce of Florida and brother, John David of Kansas.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home.
The Funeral will be Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Pineview Cemetery.
