ALLIANCE, Ohio – Erma Louise (Krahling) Hudgens, 84, of Alliance and formerly of Beloit passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Canterburry Villa.
She was born on August 30, 1932 in Alliance, Ohio the daughter of the late F. Kurt and Ethel (Wuthrick) Krahling.
Erma has worked at Ohio Drill and Tool in Homewort, as a nursing assistant for Crandall Medical Center for 12 years then worked as a private duty caregiver until the age of 73.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, canning, traveling abroad and working on the family farm.
Erma is survived by three sons, Gary (Betty) Hudgens of Akron, Ohio, Kurt Hudgens of Homeworth and Eric Hudgens of Minerva; a daughter, Christine Hudgens of Beloit; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. She is also survived by her friend whom she thought of as her sister, Leona Frederick and many honorary grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Hudgens and her brother, Karl Krahling.
Private services will be held.
