Key Returnees
A pair of junior forwards return in 5’7 Alexis Hughes and 5’6 Gabbie Baronowski after lettering last year. The Lady Devils will also feature seniors Kate Deal (5’5/G) and Bryanna Morris (5’7/G) along with sophomores Erica DeZee (5’6/G), Maddy Owen (5’2/G), Layla Woolf (5’6/C) as well as freshmen Laura Sigworth (5’5/G), Emma Heater (5’10/C), Brooke Morris (5’8/C), Morgan Donithan (5’6/F), Nicci DiCiocio (5’5/G), and Alyssa Serensky (5’2/G). Coach Miller says,” the team is eager to learn and Is willing to work hard. They’re excited about the challenge. Although we’re a young squad – we have a balance of guard and post players that improve on a daily basis.”

Outlook
Western Reserve enters the 2016-17 season without much experience to speak of outside of two girls who lettered a year ago. Coach Miller is optimistic about the Lady Devils. “I hope that we rise to the challenge that awaits us. I expect (our girls) to develop into an aggressive team that is fundamental. In every game, our girls will be prepared and give their full effort.”
