Starting or off the bench. Healthy or on one foot. Roethlisberger against the Browns is hardly a fair fight.

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – With Youngstown right in between Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the Browns versus the Steelers are important matchups every year.

Local fans showed up to Buffalo Wild Wings in Boardman to support their team on Sunday. It marked the 129th matchup in history — a 24-9 Steelers win in Cleveland.

Since the Browns returned to the NFL in 1999, the Steelers lead the series 31-6.

So with it being so one-sided, do fans still consider this a rivalry?

“It’s back and forth,” said Donald Bevington, a Steelers fan. “I see it being very challenging. Despite the fact Ben [Roethlisberger] is healthy and going in to Cleveland and stuff like that, I see a good challenge for us and I think we’ll come out with a victory today.”

“Even though the Browns are [0-11] and Pittburgh’s [5-5], I still consider them a rivalry,” Browns fan Austin Malutic said.
