NORTH JACKSON, Ohio – Services celebrating the life of Thomas J. Andrews will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26 at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel. Tom passed away early Sunday morning, November 20, at his residence.
Tom was born January 7, 1930 in Liberty Twp., the son of David and Gertrude (McCale) Andrews.
Tom retired in 1981 as a Field Engineer for Copperweld Steel. He was owner and operator along with his wife Lois, of Andrews Hot Sausage Concessions for 45 years.
He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.
Tom was a member of Niles McKinley Masonic Lodge F & AM and the Youngstown Shrine Club. He was also a member of the First Federated Church of North Jackson.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years Lois (Sinn) Andrews whom he married in 1964, children, Thomas (Cheryl) Andrews of Youngstown, Kevin Andrews and Lori Andrews both of Austintown, Patricia Scardina and Shawn Andrews Connors both of North Jackson. He also leaves 16 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James; brother, David and sister, Donna Squibbs.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 25 at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
