Icy conditions slow morning commute

An SUV went off the road in Bazetta Township and hit a tree.

BAZETTA TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKBN) – Icy conditions Monday morning may have played a role in an SUV veering off the road in Bazetta Township.

A vehicle went off the road on Perkins Jones Road and hit a tree.

The accident happened about 5:30 a.m.

A passerby called 911 to report the incident.

No injuries were reported.

Emergency crews are advising that some roads may be snow-covered and icy and drivers should use caution and allow extra time to get to their destination.
