Police: Warren man stabbed during fight over TV

The man was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment, and police were unable to find the suspect

WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – A Warren man told police he was stabbed by his roommate with a pocket knife after an argument over the TV.

Police met the 35-year-old victim at his home in the 200 block of Idyllwild Street NE around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. They reported that the victim had a small stab wound on the side of his stomach and a cut on his hand, which was bleeding.

Others in the home said they didn’t witness the stabbing but said the victim did have the suspect in a headlock at one point, according to a police report.

The man was taken to Trumbull Memorial Hospital for treatment, and police were unable to find the suspect.
