NILES, Ohio – Funeral services celebrating the life of William Charles Clark will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26, at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Mineral Ridge Chapel.
Charles passed away Monday, November 21, in Cleveland Clinic with his loving family by his side.
He was born October 1, 1955 in Youngstown the son of Homer and Cleo (Brumfield) Clark and was a lifelong area resident.
Charles served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1977.
He worked at Niles Iron and Metal for over 20 years and was well loved by his co-workers.
Charles was Lutheran by faith and loved trains and brass collecting.
Charles leaves three children, Heather Clark of Niles, Dale (Veronica) Clark of New Jersey and William Clark II of Boardman; two brothers, Eddie (Judy) Clark and Jim (Sondra) Clark and one sister, Kathy “Sis” (Chuck) Flickinger all of Youngstown; as well as 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and many close nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Clark and John Clark.
Friends may call from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 26 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes Mineral Ridge Chapel, where services will be held at 3:00 p.m. followed by full military honors.
