Police search a warehouse on Market Street in Youngstown.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Tuesday afternoon, the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency searched a property owned by a company with a history of environmental violations.

Investigators were at an old warehouse property on Market Street, owned by Budd Brothers, who used to own a Century 21 Paint.

In the late 1990s, Brothers and the company were convicted of improperly disposing of hazardous waste.

The EPA would not say Tuesday what they were looking for at the property, but a spokesman did say that the state did not think surrounding properties were in danger.
