Key Returnees
The Potters return a pair of starters in Logan Dawson (5.0 ppg) and Zach Gill (3.0 ppg). “We’re going to rely on Logan (Dawson) to lead the team as our senior point guard,” says coach Conley. “He’ll have help in the backcourt from sophomore guards Gabe Roach and Peyton reed. Logan ran the show last year and has gotten even better over the summer. Gabe has a lot of upside and can be a really good player for us if he continues to work and listen.” East Liverpool will have a lot of high-motor players in the frontcourt like seniors Robbie Davis, Aaron Bombich, and Gill along with junior Alex Tambellini. “They’re all long, athletic and like to put pressure on their opponents on the defensive side,” states Conley. “Zach is a talented forward that has the capability of averaging a double-double, while Aaron and Robbie love getting out and running and scoring in transition.”

Outlook
East Liverpool must find a way to replace three starters who averaged above 10-points a game – Isaac Davidson (27 ppg), Zach Adkins (13 ppg), and Dallas Brewer (12 ppg). Coach Nate Conley points out the team’s goals, “our expectations are never about wins and losses. We need to focus on the preparation it takes to win games. It’s the will to prepare to win that’s important. We’ve had success in the past when we pay attention to detail, outwork our opponents and play together. This group brings excitement to the game and the coaching staff cannot wait to start forming a solid unit with a great group of student-athletes.”
