Key Returnees
After graduating a large and successful senior class, the Blue Devils are left with a pair of returning letter winners – Seth Stokes and Justin Sweeney – who contributed towards last year’s 23-2 mark. Stokes averaged 4.3 points and 3.5 boards in 25 games last winter while shooting 51.1% from the field (46-90). Sweeney accounted for 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game as he shot 77.8% from the charity stripe (21-27). “We’re excited about the work they put in this summer,” says coach Huckshold. “They’ll be important to how successful we are early on in the season.”

Outlook
Last year’s senior class (Avery Andric, Josh Craig, Josh Liberati, Trevor Reese, Austin Rutecki and Jared White) totaled 73 wins over the past four seasons (73-27). Coach Huckshold knows how important it is for his team to get off on the right foot – “The month of November is very important to us as a team. From the first practice, until we tip on December 2 – we need to put a lot of work in at practices and scrimmages. On December 2, we will put five players on the floor all making their first varsity start. The players and staff are excited to carry on the competitive tradition Lisbon has had on the hardwood for the last few years.”
