Police: 7 dogs seized from unsuitable East Palestine home

EAST PALESTINE, Ohio (WKBN) – Seven dogs are at the Columbiana County Dog Pound after they were found in poor living conditions.

The dog pound says they were called to a house by East Palestine Police Friday night.

The police were at the home for a report of an injured dog. After going through the home, the dog pound determined the home was not suitable to live in.

The dog warden is working with the county prosecutor and plans to press charges against the owner.
