Key Returnees
A trio of seniors return to lead the team into the 2016-17 season. Molly Williams led the Flashes in scoring last winter (11.3) and hauled down 4 boards a game. Erin Sindledecker led the team in assists (2.5) while scoring 7 points per contest. The third senior is Izzy D’Urso, who is a two-year letter winner. The team will also feature juniors Megan Turner (9.2 ppg, 5.3 rpg, 1.8 spg), Marissa Wise (0.6 ppg, 0.7 rpg) and Alayna Fell (1.2 ppg, 0.9 rpg) as well as sophomores Abby White (10.4 ppg, 2.2 apg, 2.4 spg), Abby Gumont (averaged 2.7 points in 3 games) and freshman Allison Smith.

Outlook
Coach Cole must replace four seniors from last year’s roster which includes Haley Dean (6.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg). However, Champion does welcome back their top four scorers. “We have an experienced team with depth”, says Cole. “We expect to compete for the league title.”
