Hit and Run

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Youngstown Police continue looking into an accident that has a man hospitalized in intensive care.

It happened late Saturday night at the corner of Glenwood and LaClede avenue on the city’s south side.

Police said a pedestrian was hit while trying to cross the intersection.

At this point, investigators have not been able to talk with the victim because of his condition.

No charges have been filed yet.

Note: The previous headline to this story indicated the accident was a hit-and-run. WKBN has learned the driver of the car that hit the pedestrian stayed on the scene, meaning a hit-and-run was not the case.
