Pauline P. Ciccolelli, Campbell, Ohio - obit

CAMPBELL, Ohio – Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church for Pauline P. Ciccolelli, 87, who passed away Sunday evening, November 27.

Pauline was born April 15, 1929, in Youngstown, the daughter of Paul and Mary Yuhas Balkan.

She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.

Besides being a devoted homemaker, Pauline worked in the food service department at St. Elizabeth Hospital, retiring after 15 years of service.

She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish at St. Lucy Catholic Church, as well as its’ Infant Jesus of Prague Guild.

Pauline enjoyed playing cards with her cousins and above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren, baking, cooking and going out to dinner with her family.

Her husband, Ben J. Ciccolelli, whom she married August 3, 1950, passed away December 20, 2010.

Pauline leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Thomas A. Ciccolelli (Deneen) of Canfield; her grandchildren, Ciara (Craig) Candle, Mariah, Tommy and Kylie Ciccolelli and Lisa Ciccolelli; one great-grandchild; her sisters, Margaret Pavlich of Youngstown and Betty Elchuck of Struthers and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, Ben, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert J. Ciccolelli (Butch); her brothers, Joseph Hallas, Ben Balkan and Paul Balkan and her sisters, Vera Carter, Mary Smith, Ann Mashorda, Rose Centofante and Catherine Wielbruda.

Pauline’s family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Thursday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the church, prior to the 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass.
