2 sentenced in fraud convictions related to Braceville traffic stop

Abdiselam and Warsame will spend time in jail after police found a credit card duplicating machine in their car last year

Two men arrested during traffic stop in Braceville last year were sentenced on Monday.


WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) – Two men arrested during traffic stop in Braceville last year were sentenced on Monday.

Jibril Abdiselam was sentenced to nine months in jail on four counts including forgery and identity fraud

Zakaria Warsame will go to jail for 60 days and then serve five years of probation. He was convicted of complicity to commit fraud and possessing criminal tools.

Both men were arrested with three others during a traffic stop where police found a credit card duplicating machine, dozens of credit cards and large amounts of cash.

The three other men charged haven’t been sentenced yet.
