NILES, Ohio – Roger “Rocky” Warner of Niles, went to be with the lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 1:41 p.m. in University Hospitals, Cleveland. He was 68.
Mr. Warner was born on February 1, 1948 in Gassaway, West Virginia, the son of the late Roy and Louise Wright Warner.
He was a graduate of McDonald High School.
Roger was self-employed in the construction and water proofing industry for many years.
He was a man of strong Christian values. Roger not only cherished the Lord in his heart, he shared it with those around him. Roger enjoyed spending quality time with Kathy riding his Harley-Davidson around town and the surrounding areas. Mr. Warner was an avid Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. Most importantly he cherished the time he spent with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Chos Warner, whom he married March 27, 1979; a son, Jason (Amiee) Warner of Poulsbo, Washington; four siblings, Carol Rose, JoAnn Markwell, Mary Warner and her fiancée Israel Szabo and Danny (Cheri) Warner all of Niles; two grandchildren, Ryleigh and Zachary. Roger is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Steve (Lynda) Chos and Dave (Shaun) Chos and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Kay Warner.
