YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Nadine Jackson, 67, will be held on December 7, 2016, at Noon at the Phillips Chapel COGIC.
Mrs. Jackson departed this life November 30, 2016, with her loving family by her side.
Mrs. Jackson was born December 12, 1948, in Little Rock, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Charles Bunn and Loretta Bates Bunn Carter.
She was a graduate of South High School and was formerly employed as a clerk with Northside Hospital. She was a retiree of Delphi Packard Electric Co. and was a member of Ebenezer COGIC.
She enjoyed cooking, crafts, drawing and reading her Bible. She was a very generous person who showed love and kindness to everyone she came in contact with.
She leaves to forever cherish her memory, her children, Anthony Thomas, Christopher (Tameika) Thomas, James (Marcella) Jackson, Michael (Latoya) Jackson and Antoniea and Andrea Jackson; her sisters, Sandra (Al) Pickard, Karan Taylor; her brother, Larry (Cora) Carter, Sr.; 16 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother; her father, Alonzo Carter; her brother, Kenneth Bunn; her mother-in-law, Ocie Edmond and her grandmother, Daisy Bates.
Friends may call Tuesday, December 6 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. at the Washington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7 from 11:00 a.m. – Noon at the church prior to the service.

12:25 p.m. WKBN, 6:58 p.m. on MyYTV and 10:37 p.m. FOX plus two additional spots throughout the day.
