BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) – A roofing company has offered to repair a Boardman woman’s home free of charge after she says she paid Ohio Restoration to do the work, and the work wasn’t finished.
WKBN reported Wednesday that 11 customers have accused Ohio Restoration of taking their money and never finishing work. Among the accusers is Brenda Jones, who said she paid the company $5,700 for work on her roof, which is leaking water.
After the story aired Wednesday, Keith Chandler, of Storm Service Solutions in Cortland, offered to fix Jones’ roof for free. He dropped off the materials on Thursday and is expected to get the work done on Monday or Tuesday.
In the meantime, Ohio Restoration’s owners are facing charges.
Camri Druzen appeared in Austintown Court Wednesday, charged with several felonies, including bad checks and grand theft. Co-owner Ancil Wilson is also facing charges, and police are looking for him.
