Key Returnees
The Trojans are led by their two seniors – Ethan Reiser (5.0 ppg, 2.3 apg) and 6’4 Anthony Detullio. Greenville welcomes back a large group of juniors which includes Joe Batt, Mike Blaney, Tyler Kincaid, Trap Wentling, Conner Gifoyle, and Josh Hittle. Batt led the team in scoring a year ago with a 13.0 average. He also made 43 three-point baskets while hauling down 5.1 boards and distributing the ball to the tune of 1.6 assists per outing. Blaney scored 9.9 points per game while Wentling went for 6.9 last winter. Blaney also grabbed 3.3 rebounds and dished out 1.8 assists per contest.

Outlook
In 2015-16, Greenville advanced to the post-season for the first time in five years. Last year, the Trojans won their first district championship since 1997 in a 54-51 victory over Fairview. Even with the loss of Trent McErlane (10.9 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 1.7 apg), Coach Batt returns a ton of talent and experience as they’ve had a positive off-season, “The team had a good summer and fall as all team functions were attended well.”
