Farrell Police investigating second shooting in 2 days

Officers were called to the area of 512 Beechwood Ave. at around 7:50 a.m. Friday

Police are investigating a shooting on Beechwood Avenue.


FARRELL, Pa. (WKBN) – Police are investigating a shooting on Beechwood Avenue.

Officers were called to the area of 512 Beechwood Ave. at around 7:50 a.m. Friday.

Police said a junior at Farrell High School was taking out the garbage when he was shot in the shoulder. He was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

This is the second shooting in Farrell in the last two days. Police said a victim was shot on Dakota Street around 1 a.m. Thursday. 

It is unknown at this time whether the shootings are related.
