YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – A man who police said hid a gun underneath a sleeping baby has been indicted by a Mahoning County grand jury.
Jamal Moody is charged with having weapons under disability, tampering with evidence and endangering children.
In October, officers were called to the apartment complex on Kendis Circle for reports that Moody was outside with a gun, threatening people.
Police said the loaded handgun was found underneath the mattress of a three-month-old sleeping baby. A loaded shotgun was found under another mattress, police said.
Moody has prior felony convictions, making possessing firearms illegal.
