BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio – Judith A. Griffith, 73, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
She was born on February 27, 1943, in Warren, Ohio, daughter of the late, Vere and Blanche (Barnard) Fickes.
Judy was a 1961 graduate of Howland High School.
She married her husband James “Shag” Griffith, Sr. on December 2, 1987.
Judy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and enjoyed following friends located all over the world on Facebook.
Judy is survived by husband of 29 years, Shag Griffith; children, June Kimpel of Henderson, Tennessee and Tony (Tiffany) Cullison of Parma, Ohio; stepdaughter, Janet (Chris) Kniseley of Warren; stepson, James Griffith, Jr. of Warren, Ohio; 14 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Betty) Fickes of Leavittsburg, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ronald Fickes and Larry Fickes and two sisters, Dorothy Pavick and Blanche Marcello.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer Winans Chapel, 164 North High Street, Cortland, Ohio from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.
