Accidents and mishaps across the Valley slowed down the morning commute

Two vehicles collided on Youngstown-Poland Road in Youngstown, Ohio.

Youngstown, Ohio (WKBN) – Several accidents were reported across the Valley early Monday morning that slowed the morning commute for many drivers.

Ludt’s Towing said it was busy getting calls for cars sliding off the roads on Monday morning.

Two vehicles collided on Youngstown-Poland Road in Youngstown just after midnight.

No injures were reported but both vehicles were damaged.

A vehicle went off the road along Route 11 in Trumbull County, just before the Tibbetts Wick Rd. exit and another vehicle was reported off the road at about 6 a.m. on the Madision Avenue Expressway, near I-680 north.\

A teenager also crashed along Scoville North Road, off of Route 82. He was taken to the hospital with a shoulder injury.

Drivers are urged to use caution as warming temperatures could melt snow on the roads creating black ice. COMPLETE WEATHER FORECAST
