Speed limit restored on I-80 in Mercer County

All traffic restrictions from Monday morning have been lifted

Harrisburg, Pa. (WKBN) – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has lifted speed restrictions on I-80 in Pennsylvania.

Monday morning, traffic was slowed to 45 miles per hour, stretching from Mercer County to just east of Scranton, Pa. The alert went into place after heavy snowfall in the area.

PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.

All other traffic advisories have been restored. Traffic updates are available at 511PA.
