Judith Ann Delancey, Leavittsburg, Ohio - obit

LEAVITTSBURG, Ohio – Judith Ann Delancey, 77, of Leavittsburg, died peacefully at her home on, December 13, 2016, at 6:34 p.m.

Judith was born on August 15, 1939, in Warren, a daughter of the late, Andrew and Betty (Summerlin) Bayus.

Judith was a 1958 graduate of Champion High School.

Judith was an Avon representative for 30 years; she also worked as a housekeeper at Vista Care Center, in Mineral Ridge, for 14 years, retiring last year.

In her free time, she enjoyed, crafting and she was an excellent seamstress; crocheting, knitting and even making dresses for her nieces to enjoy. Judith loved camping and spoiling her beloved dogs rotten. Her most precious memories were spent with her family whom she loved and adored.

Judith leaves behind her siblings, John (Patty) Bayus, of Leavisttsburg, Ruthie Pinter, of Warren, Michael (Betty) Bayus, of Bazetta, Robert (Debbie) Bayus, of Warren, Roger (Richard Bell), of Cortland, Donald Bayus, of Champion and Mark (Sherri) Bayus, of Burghill; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and the love of her life and best friend, her husband, the late Russell H. Delancey. They were married on August 16, 1972, Russell died on September 1, 2013 after 41 loving years of marriage. Judith was also preceded in death by her siblings, David, Walter, Dorothy Almburg and Carol Woodstock.

Family and friends may call Monday, December 19, 2016, from 12 Noon – 1:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts- Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Dr. Service will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jeffrey Baker celebrating Judith’s life.

Interment will take place at Meadowbrook Cemetery Champion.
