YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – An intersection in Youngstown closed Tuesday morning after a city snowplow took out a utility pole overnight.
The intersection at Albert Street and Verona Avenue reopened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Police said the snow truck driver was salting the intersection around 4 a.m. when he backed the dump truck into a utility pole. The intersection was closed into the afternoon for repairs.
Investigators said they don’t plan to cite the plow driver.
