WWE wrestler wrangles would-be robber in Florida.

CORAL SPRINGS, FL (CNN) – A would-be robber in Florida learned the hard way that wrestling is real.

WSVN reports Shad “The Beast” Gaspard was at a Valero gas station in Coral Springs, Florida when he was approached by a man who asked him to buy him a beer.

Gaspard told the station, “this guy comes from the back of the store, and he goes, ‘Yo, man, buy me a beer,’ and I’m like, you know, I didn’t know the guy,” he said. “And I’m like, ‘Yo, man, there’s a better way to approach somebody.’”

The man then said he had a gun in his waistband, which Gaspard took from him. Gaspard then grabbed the man and shoved him out the door of the gas station.

Gaspard held the man until police arrived.

The man was later identified as 35-year-old Jason Felix. He was arrested and charged with armed robbery.
