Charles Carr named WKBN Big 22 Pennsylvania Player of the Year

The Hornets back totaled 2,280 yards rushing in his senior season with 42 total touchdowns

One week after Charles Carr set the all-time scoring record for Hickory, the Hornets running back was right back at it in a week two matchup with Mercer leading his team to a 70-0 victory.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Hickory’s Charles Carr has been named the WKBN Big 22 Pennsylvania Player of the Year for 2016.

Carr finished his career as Mercer County’s all-time leading rusher.

The Hornets back totaled 2,280 yards rushing in his senior season with 42 total touchdowns.
