A barn housing horses in Mercer County caught fire Thursday night. None of the horses were hurt.

FREDONIA, Pa. (WKBN) – A barn housing horses in Mercer County caught fire Thursday night. None of the horses were hurt.

The fire happened at Horseplay Stables on Airport Road in Fredonia. It started between 8-9 p.m.

The big problem was water.

It had to be brought in from a hydrant five miles away.

It appears half of a barn was destroyed. Eight or nine fire departments responded to help out.
