Lynn Bowden named WKBN Big 22 Ohio Player of the Year

Bowden is the only player to have ever made the Big 22 class in four consecutive seasons

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Warren Harding quarterback Lynn Bowden has won the WKBN Big 22 Ohio Player of the Year award for the second consecutive year.

The Raiders star quarterback is only the third player to win Player of the Year in back-to-back years, and only the second to do so in Ohio (Hubbard’s L.J. Scott).

Bowden is also the only player to have ever made the Big 22 class in four consecutive seasons.

Bowden finished with a school record 2,277 yards rushing and 36 touchdowns on the ground in 2016. He also added 1,366 yards and another 19 scores through the air.
