Storm Team 27: Wintry mix to rain Saturday

Slowly warming up!  Snow showers developing.  1 to 3 inches.  Up to 4” in isolated spots of northern Trumbull and Mercer counties.  Snow will change to a wintry mix of freezing rain and sleet toward morning. Light ice accumulation will be possible.  Temperatures will climb with the wintry mix changing to rain from south to north.   The wintry mix will change back to all rain Saturday.

Rain will continue Saturday night.  Small chance for thunder Saturday evening into Saturday night.  Turning colder through the night with rain mixing back to snow showers.  Up to an inch possible into Sunday morning.  Chance for snow showers and colder temperatures Sunday.

Better weather to start next week.  It will be cold!  A warming trend will return through the middle of the week.  Another round of snow showers by Thursday and Friday.
