WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBN) – Omarosa Manigault has joined President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team, CBS News reports.
The Youngstown native appeared on Trump’s TV show, “The Apprentice,” and had been campaigning for Trump. She stopped in Youngstown in September as part of a “Women for Trump” campaign tour, and was the director of African American outreach for his campaign.
According to CBS News, Manigault will be on the team’s executive committee, which includes several legislators, Trump family members, and incoming White House staffers.
Earlier this week, Manigault was at a meeting with local businessman Bruce Zoldan, retired Cleveland Browns player Jim Brown and former Baltimore Ravens star Ray Lewis.
