Power restored in downtown Youngstown

The outage occurred around 4 p.m. on Sunday

Areas of downtown Youngstown are currently without power.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Power was restored in downtown Youngstown just before 10 p.m.

Areas of downtown Youngstown were without power since around 4 p.m on Sunday when the outage occurred.

An equipment problem at a substation caused the outage.

WKBN was told that approximately 950 people were impacted.
