Redding powers Sharon past Bethel Park

Marvin Redding led all scorers with 29 points to lead Sharon past Bethel Park 62-57.

SHARON, Pennsylvania (WKBN) – Sharon held off Bethel Park 62-57 in boys’ high school basketball action Monday night.

Marvin Redding led all scorers with 29 points for the Tigers.  JP McComb also had a strong night with 13 points in the Sharon victory.

Alexander Mullen led the Black Hawks with 13 points, while Justin Meis added 12 in the setback.

The Tigers were a perfect 16-16 at the free throw line in the victory.

Sharon returns to the floor on Friday night on the road at Oil City.
