Penguins opponent James Madison suspends 7 players

The coach has not revealed the players' names or offenses

Several players on the James Madison football team have been suspended.

HARRISONBURG, Va. (WKBN) – According to a report in the Daily News Record, the James Madison football program has suspended seven players.

The suspensions occur as YSU prepares to play the Dukes Jan. 7 in Frisco, Texas.

The paper reported that coach Mike Houston would not elaborate on the nature of the offenses that led to the suspensions.

The names of the players have not been released.
