LISBON, Ohio – Donna Belle (Weingart, Weikart) Webber, 93, well-known and longtime resident of Lisbon, more recently of Dublin, passed away Monday evening, December 26, 2016 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus surrounded by her children.
She was born April 9, 1923 in Damascus, a daughter of the late Ben and Lura (Yeagley) Weingart.
Donna was a 1941 graduate of Leetonia High School and Salem Business College.
After graduating, she worked at Farmer’s National Bank and in later years, with her husband, Charles (Chick) Webber helped to run Webber Plumbing and Heating and Fox’s Pizza Den.
She was a member of New Lisbon Presbyterian Church and its choir.
She also sang in the Community Chorus and was a member of Lisbon Historical Society, Iva Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and a lifetime member of VFW Post 4111 Auxiliary. An avid traveler, she especially enjoyed Las Vegas and senior bus trips as well as her many trips over seas.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert M. (Bob) Weikart (1956) and Charles (Chick) Webber (1998); as well as a sister, Evelyn Fisher.
She will be sadly missed by her five children, Larry (Teresa) Webber of Getttysburg, Pennsylvania, Beverly (Paul) Larson of Cape May Court House, New Jersy, Nadine (Rob) Pike of Dublin, Denise (Wayne) McDevitt of Reynoldsburg, Ohio and Charles B. (Sun Hwa) Webber of Lawton, Oklahoma; 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Bernice Roberts and Norma Reedy; five nieces and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2017 at the Weber Funeral Home with Rev. Jan Douglass officiating.
Friends may call from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Lisbon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to New Lisbon Presbyterian Church, 111 East Chestnut Street, Lisbon, Ohio; Lisbon Historical Society, 119 East Washington Street, Lisbon, Ohio or OhioHealth Hospice, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, Ohio.
