CORTLAND, Ohio – Teofila “Tillie” Wanda (Zajac) Lorello passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Lake Vista of Cortland.
Tillie was born December 1, 1921 in Edenborn, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late Joseph and Anelia Kudyba Zajac.
She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, the Blue Star Mothers, and SCOPE in Howland, Warren, Niles and Cortland. Tillie had been a Brownie Scout Leader.
She enjoyed family activities and friends, traveling, oil painting, reading and flower gardening.
On September 19, 1945 Tillie was united into marriage with Dominick E. Lorello and together they shared 56 loving years until his passing on March 6, 2002.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Karen (Nick) Loprire of Cortland; her sons, Albert (Carol) Lorello of Niles, Ohio and Richard Lorello of Hawaii; one brother, Paul Zajac of Kirkland, Ohio; six grandchildren, Michael Lorello, Todd Lorello, Christine Lorello, JoAnn Lorello, Nicholas Loprire, and Melissa Loprire and grandpuppy, Valentino and five great-grandchildren.
Tillie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Louse Ricci and a brother, John Zajac.
Private services were held Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, 962 North Rd. NE, Warren, Ohio with Reverend Carl G. Kish officiating.
Interment followed at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland.
