BRISTOLVILLE, Ohio – Ralph A. Lambright, 94 of Bristolville, a former resident of Cortland, entered into rest on December 29, 2016.
Ralph was born September 29, 1922 in Seneca County, Ohio the son of Ray Tracy & Mabel Ellen (Saum) Lambright.
He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard during W.W.II.
Ralph worked 28 years as a machinist for Wean Manufacturing in Warren, retiring in 1987.
He enjoyed planting and caring for his large gardens. He also loved to go fishing with his family and fishing buddies. Ralph and his wife Dotty attended Pleasant Valley Evangelical Church in Niles and were active members for many years. They also enjoyed spending time together in the Christian Cassette Tape Ministry they shared from their home.
In addition to his parents and three siblings, Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Dorothea “Dotty” H. (Wogan) Lambright whom entered into rest on March 9, 2013.
He is survived by his children, Ralph E. (Peggy) Lambright, Terry L. Lambright, Delores E. Mariage, Marilyn J. (Charles) Artman, Tamara R. (Robert) Sines, Kenneth R. Lambright and Gloria (Jim) Scott; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 3 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St, Cortland where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday January 4 at 11:00 a.m. The family will also receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memorial Park in Warren.
