AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Mary McKlusky, 98, of Austintown, died Sunday, January 8, 2017 at 7:50 p.m. at Briarfield at Ashley Circle in Austintown.
Mary was born on September 16, 1918 in Cortland, a daughter of the late George and Katie (Puchevich) Pollock.
Mary graduated from Cortland High School in 1936.
She worked at Youngstown Club as a kitchen worker and at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in the laundry department.
In her free time, she enjoyed baking and making Christmas ornaments.
She leaves behind two children; a son, Paul (Glenda) Hroscvh, of Youngstown and a daughter, Anna Marie Summers, of Michigan; seven grandchildren, Glenda (Ed) Whelend, Paul (Tammy) Hrosch, Michelle (Jim) Itts, Tim (Katrina) Summers, Randy (Sue) Summers, Michael (Melissa) Summers and Melissa(Brian) Gombos; 19 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathy Black and a brother, Thomas Pollock.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Paul Hrosch who died in 1973 and her second husband, Joe McKlusky who died in 1978. She is also preceded in death by nine siblings and one great-grandchild.
Family and friends may call Friday, January 13, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave.
Funeral services will be held on, Saturday January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. with additional calling hours one hour prior at the funeral home.
Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery. Care was entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel.
