SEATTLE, Washington – (Formerly New Castle, Pennsylvania) – Nicholas DiThomas, 69, formerly of New Castle died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Burien Nursing and Rehab in Seattle, Washington.
After attending 1st grade at Mahoning School, Nick moved to Seattle, graduated from Highline High School and attended Central Washington University.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth (Boone) DiThomas and his father, Dante DiThomas.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa D’Andrea and her husband, Chris; two grandchildren, Rosemary and Joseph Dante D’Andrea; his sister, Karen (Thomas) Schoffner and her husband, Frank; his brother, Bill DiThomas and his wife, Candy and two nieces, Katie and Carissa.
Although most of his life was spent in Seattle, Nicky was fond of his years in New Castle.
Nick will be buried beside his father, Dante, at St. Lucy’s Cemetery.
Arrangements are in the care of the William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, 926 Cunningham Avenue.
